Katahdin sheep
 

We chose the Katahdin Hair Sheep for our ranch because they are the type of animal that fits into our lifestyle: very friendly, easily maintained, no shearing, very tolerant to parasites. They are great mothers. They are a joy to have around. They are primarily a meat sheep but we milk them as well.

The KHSI is a very good organization that works hard to promote and maintain the quality of the breed. The KHSI is extremely helpful.
